Oxidation on headlights

idk exactly on the headlights if this will work but on the rear 3rd brakelight i took off when i changed spoilers i wet sanded it with a very fine grain and then gave it a spray of canned clearcoat and it looks brand new, was scratched and oxidized pretty bad before

wow that some expensive stuff for headlights, id try the $0.20 piece of sandpaper and a $3 can of clearcoat first, if ur gona spend $20-$50 in headlight restoration products you should take a look at just picking up some light that are not oxidized anyways

Thats what I did on mine, except instead of painting them, I used Plast-X and buffed out the small scratches and cracks. I believe Nighthawk has a write-up on how to restore head/tail-lights.

3m makes a product thats cost around $20 comes with sand paper and little buffing pad that attaches to ur drill and some headlight buffing compound. worked out great for mine.
