So a few weeks ago randomly i popped the P0340 code for Camshaft Position Sensor and read up on it and ruled out that replacing the alternator turns out to solve the problem and not the sensor. So I am just wondering am I possibly risking anything driving it for a little while until I get the $$ for a new alternator? being a college student money is ridiculously tight. The only thing that i notice from it, is that doesnt want to start sometimes and then the 2nd key rotation fires it up immediately and idles rough. So am i risking anything driving it temperarily until i fix it? Please & thanks for the help
