I thought PA performance would be the best place to get an alternator until this crap that just happened with me. I got a 130 amp kit from them less than a year ago, alternator took a crap on me and I send it back thinking they would make good. What I get back is the alternator I sent them and I can't even use it now because now it has a bent shaft and the belt would definately not be stayin on the car if I had even tried to put this thing back on. I didn't think something as expensive as one of their alternators could be such garbage. maybe it was just shipping, but they don't pack it worth ****, all it was is a box inside a box with some paper at the bottom of each one. I'm so pissed off right now I don't know what the hell to do. I'm thinking I should see if they'll make good on it, but another part of me says screw them, and take it to small claims court. has anyone else had a **** experience like this or am I the only one that caught the shaft so far?

maybe not, but I'm still pissed off this car is my only form of transportation man, and I wanna do my damn 3rd gear burnouts again. I wait a week for the $hit to come back fixed and the shaft is tweaked leaves me walking for another week

Did you email them? I bought my alt and mini-starter from them. Top notch company and they will answer and fix any problems you have. They did it for me, I had a problem with getting my power wire for my alt so I emailed them and they next day aired it to me. PA Performance =

Yeah their a pretty big company. Give them a chance to make it good.

I'd call them up and see if you could get a new one overnighted for your troubles.

Get on the phone with a sales rep & raise hell...Are they the same company that makes transmissions too? My friend has a PA C4 trans that he's had to rebuild 4 times within the last 2 years

Ok you just contradicted yourself. You want your car back to working condition bc its your only form of transportation, but then u say u wanna do ur 3rd gear burnouts again. I'm in the same boat with my car being screwed right now bc of my alternator but IM not saying "I need my car back now bc i miss dumping the clutch."
