Gates open at 4PM and Car Club competitors usually get first pass priority. Expect competition to begin between 6 and 7PM -after several practice runs. The Ford Drag Team is in first place and we welcome any new members. Don't be deterred by a lack of experience. Just give it a try. We usually set-up the awning to the immediate right just past the gas pumps.

Any ford welcome? my stangs not runnign so hot but id like to see what my ranger fx4 will do. its an auto with no traction problems so I might even rack up some points.

Points are earned for each race in which you compete. Naturally, if you lose the first race, you won't be earning points for the second. It's bracket racing so being fast is less important that being consistent. The points are allotted to you as an individual and to the team.

Any Ford will work fine. We have trucks on the team as well as 4 cylinder cars.

Your car is like mine, faster than almost all competitors but inconsistent. I just dial a time slower than my car can run (12.20 usually) then chase down and put my fender in front of my opponent. If I cut a better light, I win.

Hmmm......how much is it to tech and race? I have only been down the strip 5 times in my life, and all in the Roush at Shelton last month.

35 the first time of the season, and 25 everytime after that, and 5 to join the FDT.
Thats if nothing changed sence last year.

I somehow ended up at spokane speedway friday night,.... lol spent the rest of the time there, bars, racing, strip clubs, hookers..... good times
