After a lot of changing my mind I decided to keep my 66 red--I still want it to be a kameleon style paint and I heard pearl paint jobs w/flakes are nice....please let me know what you think...do they change color? how much do I need? how many coats of clear w/pearl & w/out? any help apreciated

A pearl will not necessarily change color, but in light it will react a little bit different.I has S-10 that was black with red pearl and when the sun would hit it,it would turn a burgundy.I also had white stripes with a blue pearl that looked white and the blue would come out in the sun.Dont know if this helped, but I dont think a pearl with give the chameleon effect you want.
