Won't painting in a garage like that result in a ton of dust in the paint?

also, aren't you supposed to spray the blue first since its lighter? and spray the black 2nd cause it will cover the blue?? in all my art and design classes they've taught me that the lighter color always goes down first....btw AWESOME choice on colors! i really like that blue, and i think the cars gonna look killer

This one has my vote as well. This car is extremely hot. Apparently, the guy who owns it is really cool. He is also very well endowed, like a squirrel in heat.

Well it seems like they have tried to do things like wetting the floor to reduce it. So hopefully it wont be a problem. Im sure he thought about that prior...maybe he has a couple other tricks to help.

Ive painted like 7 vehicles in the garage like this and dust really isnt a problem. i keep the very bottom of the big door open and the two side windows cracked and my garage is high so it gets some wind through the window to door path and creates a nice downdraft and the floor when damp works real well for dust.

thanks for the compliments . ill have more pics tomorrow.

youre probably right, but my brother was whacked out on primer fumes when he recommended to do it this way. I was more whacked out so i just agreed without thinking about it much.

So is it just gonna make the blue look a little darker where the black is under it? I noticed that u didnt put black on the whole car....or will enough coats of blue cover up the black without any color changes

How long have u been doing it? Seems like its definately something that would be worth the effort to learn. My car needs paint too....wanna paint it? lol
