call the dealer and give them ur vin, sometimes they can get the paint code from that. i manage a body shop and we run into this from time to time.

You could also log on to Autozone and look up touch up paint for your year and model, If you know the colors name you can get the paint code from them too.

Unfortunatly they dont make E9 touch up. I tried every where in three towns to get it and ended up buying Redfire cause its really close for just rock chip touching up.

FoMoCo still offers "Laser Red" (E9) touch-up in the 1/2 fl-oz bottle, or if your looking for "bulk" any body shope should be able to mix you a qt or however much you need........

Any idea on how much Ford would charge for that Randy?

Not sure if many other owners of this color are having the problems I am having, though my rear bumper looks horrible on the top

Interesting, I figured the dealers would mark it way up. I doubt my small local dealer has it, though I imagine he could get it?

I know you know your stuff Randy and I wish the local dealers were more helpful. I called Dick Scott Ford, Anderson Ford and the Ford Licncoln dealer in Waco and they all said no E9 touch up paint, not avaliable. I called a pain shop in Corsicana and he said he could get me close but since Laser Red is a candied two stage paint there is no way to make a touch up paint for it Was he just wrong?
I ended up getting Redfire and its really close, some spots you cant even tell. I then waxed the whole car with Meguiers NXG wax and that helped the paint get deeper to match the touch up paint.
