Painted Exterior Piece?

Painting it the same color might look ok on a darker colored car, but I wouldn't do it on a brighter color like Laser Red. Then again what do I know, I think body color mirrors look horrible on our cars.

Im still thinking about skipping painting that piece, although I havent found anyone yet that hasnt complimented the painted mirrors.
