I am gonna paint my interior.. I have a black on black convertible mustang with the black/beige interior. I am going to change my carpet to a navy blue and paint my interior pieces to match the navy with some vinyl paint.

Here is a link to the thread I made about it

My opinion.. too much silver would be.. too much
I am doing mine black/navy and plan on doing all the trim and buttons with a billet aluminum kit.

To me stuff painted silver just looks cheap I'd try to find an accent color for your car and go with that to paint pieces like black/blue, black/red, or whatever else you like.

What about a nice gunmetal color. Not too "blingin", but still not a color that has nothing to do with the car such as say....red or something.

You have to do it if YOU like it.

Here are a couple:
I moved the black vents from the center to the ends, where the tan ones were:

And...Painted the tan ones silver and put them in the middle

DONT use chrome paint..that's when it starts looking cheesy. A nice silver will look good.

Also...I dont have a pic of the door handle bezel, but I painted it a bronze metallic color, since the interior is tan.

NICE JOB JR!

Thanks man I actually bought an airbrush to paint some small stuff and I started painting everything after that. It's not that hard just the prep time is crucial and time consuming and patience with taping off stuff.

RC & iwashmycar Thanks also guys

I was gonna say that painting your interior was stupid till I seen this...and once again 94SC50 has proven me wrong. I hate you dude, everything on your car is everything my car needs. Just kidding, I envy you more than I envy my own mother.

I used a small brush to paint it and some clear coat on top of it. We were going to try and make it down next month but my Wife wants to go home instead to Maine for her b-day. I will be back in the fall I think to look for a place.

You mean that wheel is painted?
How the H3ll do you paint that material where you grip and not have it flake off when you grab it?

When you do come back down, you can show me, and give me some pointers. I will buy dinner and the first beer just for letting me look at that car!

rc: the wheel itself used to be all tan like mine but it looks like he bought/traded for a black wheel and left the tan airbag cover and painted the horse and letters.

I just have a black cover on my wheel
