Wind and dirt is the enemy. If you absolutely must spray your car outside, do it on a damp, humid day. My shiniest paint jobs have always been on days with high humidity.Ok so don't insult my intelligence here.
Is it 'acceptable' practice to paint your car outside? Let's say under a carport with covered sides. Is it doable? Is it not a smart idea because of all the outside particles that can land on the car?
Any advice? Thanks!

Sorry buddy-I just wanted you to check out the video-I shoulda been more specific lolHummmmm......
Errrrr....exactly what advice should I give? Eh @a91what ?
Unless you're going to put a flat black on it, I would do most anything to find an enclosed area. You'll be at the mercy of the elements otherwise.
If you want may advice concerning the prep and painting of the vehicle, pm me. I'll help as best I can.
