painting a fox vert.

I've been looking around and can't figure out how to paint my car.
i have a
1989 LX convertible. Black top / grey interior

I'm thinking of a two tone but not sure where to tape the split. Thinking black top half and a silver or blue bottom half.
let alone if it can pull it off. I don't want the car to look long.

I can't find much pictures around so any suggestions would be great.

I vote solid color. LX's just don't look right two tone IMHO
