its paintable, but my painter said even with flex it would chip n crack, not worth it, the black lip brings it out nice IMO.
Maybe if you could get a clear bra for it, I dunno, I just wouldnt paint it.

Ditto, I wouldn't paint it either. I took me one whole week to scrape it (though it's not noticable...but if were painted it sure would be). Fortunately, it came from the factory in my matching color. ;-)

I saw a white 00 GT just a couple weeks ago with the chin spoiler painted, it didnt look bad IMO. you could do it, but I left mine black and I like it better that way

I wouldnt paint it, but im sure it can be done. Wouldnt flex paint work? its more expencive, but its made for plaastic bumpers aand stuff that will bend and not crack.

It has been done and looks very good. The big "however" here is that you will have to be ALOT more careful with it afterwards. In my opinion it is not worth the hassle, but that is just me.

flex will help, but a rock at 90+ mph and however you want to calculate the rocks speed... flex isnt gonna help... get a huge can of touch up paint if you do it

keep it black. I have it on my p-red GT and it looks especially nice if you have dark tinted windows.
