I know Toadstang painted part of the interior of his and it looks pretty nice, you should ask him.

I painted my shifter bezel, the plate my stereo mounts to (aftermarket plate with plugged space for an EQ) and the bezel around the A/C controls a gunmetal color... i like it, and it matches my autometer gauges, but thats about as much as i plan on painting. interior is all torn apart now (and will be till my swap is on the road) but ill get some pics when its done.

In my sons 81 I color changed the int from red to black(this was a few years ago now) the only part I could not find was a dash. Talked to buddy at the parts store he fixed me up with a product called (if I remember) Marhyde?? They have a cleaner and paint, worked ausome(sp) Just follow the directions. In Canada I've seen the paint at Canadian Tire, don't know what you have where you are but I'll bet you can get it there.I also did'nt have to clear it so it looked factory(no shine) ecept from the Satin paint finish, hope I've helped and good luck.

Interior painted.

I've pretty much finished my whole interior. Paint quality if the number one thing. Plus primer. Sem has some good interior paint, but Plasti-kote from Advance Auto is also nice. If someone can let me know how to post pics. I'll borrow a digital and take some quick pics of my interior.

I have only painted the bottom of the dask as of right now because Ive ben putting my money into other things, such as a new head gasket and other parts and such. But here it is.

EDIT: Tired, just read what I typed. That's "dash," not "dask." :spot:

EDIT 2: Again..."I've" and "been"

nice interior
how did u get the ac vents out i tried to gt mine out today but it thought i was going to brake it. is there a clip that holds it in?
there are two rectangular clips on both sides, i just used a tiny flat head screw driver to pry the vent out. Take note to be gentle, i didn't break mine, but im sure it wouldn't be too difficult to do....

Hopefully sometime this summer my friend and i are going to be re-painting my stang, probably same colour
