AM has some nice looking quarter window louvers on sale for $109.
What have some of you paid to have them painted, or any other option?
Should I prime them first?

IMO I really like the 2005-2009 Mustang Roush Quarter Window Louvers - Pair- Pre-Painted 254.95 Shipped

The nice thing about the Roush 1/4 Window Louvers is that you can remove them to clean the window whenever you want!

Torch Red, these would look sooooo good on my car, one of my next mods.

I ordered a Pre-Painted Roush Hood Scoop from them and the color was a perfect match, great price, free shipping and received it within like 3 or 4 days

From the looks of them, if you can see out of them it would be minimal at best, I will most likely purchase the 1/4 window deletes for the inside as well, it all depends on what the inside of the louvers look like, if they are not painted nicely, I would def do the deletes, if they are painted nicely I'll have to see how they look once installed and make a decision at that time.

The ones I got are the "scoop" type...all solid, so you can't see anything. They include pre-cut blackout decals so you don't see anything but black from the inside. Plus, you don't have to delete the windows and risk a leak!

I was looking at the scoop style louvers as well, they are really nice, then I saw the Roush louvers and I fell in love with them, when I said the window deletes I didn't mean removing my windows, they sell a panel that you install on the inside of the window that covers it, its pre-cut the exact shape of the window and fits like a glove so this way if the louvers are not nice looking from the inside of the car, you just throw these panels on (the ones I found and liked were black) and all you see is black from the inside.

It take some getting used to that big blind spot with the 14's covered, but you get used to it.. Just back out between two cars SLOWLY!

(And let the SLP's growl a warning to approaching cars!)
