I painted mine myself, and I was initially happy with the result, but then it started to peel right around the little screw holes, so when I got my hood painted, I had the bodyshop redo the window louvers too. I'd reccommend just having a body shop paint them, unless you're quite skilled with a paint gun, and have the proper equipment.

how much did it cost to paint the louvers?

how much did it cost to the paint the hood?

Was the install on the louvers easy to do yourself? I think I might get a pair.

Shoot if I remember prices. I had the shop do a lot of work, so I don't remember exact prices of the individual pieces. Paint and prep on the hood was somewhere around $500 I think, and just to do the louvers was just over $100 I think, not sure.

If they're pre-painted, they're quite easy to install. Just use the stencil they provide, tape it on the car, line up the holes, and press the little brackets on. Then you just screw the louvers to the brackets. It really wasn't hard, just take your time to line everything up carefully.
