I'm looking for the part number for the shorter smog pump hose that has the deep elbow bend to it.

Mine has sat on the header too long and the part number can no longer be seen on the hose.

Thanks in advance.

I used to have the #'s, but I can tell you that your search for them will probably be in vane. I just tried to replace all the smog hoses earlier this year, as I mine were brittle and cracked from years of heat. But Ford doesn't carry them anymore, I couldn't even find one as a hold over item at a store. No one makes them for aftermarket that I could find either.

The only lead I could give you is try to find a smog shop out in california and give them a picture and dimensions. I talked to a few shops on the phone a said that many of the hoses are not aftermarket or replacement manufactured, but the some companies do have replacement and that they keep a large stock. When they have one they cannot find a replacement for they try to match it up with another manufacter part or they end up making one, as this is what I did.

It doesn't look as good as stock but it is close. I got the proper sized hose, but semi-flexable and some heater hose elbows and got it to work with cutting short hose pieces and using the elbows and clamps.

If you do find some of the hoses let me know, I would like some too. An I did ask the same question here and no one had and answer as to where the could be bought.

Hope that helps.

Sooooooooooooo THAT'S why I cannot find this hose at the parts store!

Thanks for the info.

I would like to bump this thread to anyone who might have the original hose on their car and provide the part number written on it.

There may be a chance we can map the part number to a replacement part or company that makes it.

For you stock-low mileage 5.0 drivers, please go to your car and take a note or photo of the part number on the lower smog hose.

Thanks again!
