part # of the holley systemax II intake please

possibly looking at switching intakes. im not sure of the part # of the Systemax II. i heard the original Systemax sucked. want to make sure i get the right one. is it 300-72S ?

summit has them for $569 . i found them on ebay for $498 shipped. is this the Systemax II ?

Thats the same intake I just bought on ebay, Mob and a few others on here talked me into it.

so yours and the the link i have posted are both the Systemax II?

i have a TFS street now and i think it will be fine for my NA 306, everyone else seems to think differently.

TFS Street of Systemax ?




...still looking for a part #

I believe the intake I just bought is the 2nd design SysteMax II, the SysteMax II is the newest stuff, redesigned, the older SysteMax looked just like a stock lower 5.0 intake with the round inline ports

Holley #300-72S is the part number for the SysteMax for our cars.

TFS street is ok for a very lightly modded combo using a stock cam or smaller lift cam, they put the powerband at idle to 5500 for the TFS street intake, while the holley systemax has 2000-6500 RPM power band which better suits my combo with the TFS stage 1 cam that's rated 2,500-6,500 RPM
