My father in law is going to get a part from his stang signed by Carroll Shelby (sp??), I would like to get the part that covers the passenger side airbag signed on my 02' GT, the part that has SRS and the Mustang logo, anyone know if it can be removed and replaced???

Thanks....

Well, when the airbag deploys, it pops off to expose the bag. Knowing that, it has to be replaceable.

I can gently pull on mine and it will begin to come off. I'm not real sure if they use some kind of adhesive or if they just sit in there. I believe there is some type of "glue" on it from that factory that has, over time, began to wear out in my car.

that cover is held in place by @6 rubber straps that are made in the cover and rivet on to the air bag module, so you would have to remove the whole unit.

Yeah, my father in law is taking the glove compartment door off his 66 fastback, I was thinking of doing the same but the angle of it would make the sig difficult to see.
