At first the swith would work only some times(always went down just some times it wouldnt go up). Then it would never go up and i would have to use my drivers switch to make it go up. Now boths switches wont make it go up but it will still go down. Is my motor out? How and where do i get the parts to fix this?

The bushings in the plastic gear are shot. Its normal with our cars. Go into the FAQ sheet and you will find pics and directions on changing the bushings.

Or maybe it's electrical, since you mention problems with switches. Does it at least make a noise like the motor is trying (or, does the voltmeter go down when you try to roll it up and it won't go...)? Then I'd say Vibe is right. Otherwise I'd suspect wiring. My car has similar oddities with windows and locks both acting silly sometimes -- in my case it's because of a bad alarm install from a previous owner.

My SHO did this also. The rear passenger window would go down fine, but once you tried to put it back up, it wouldn't. After 10-15 minutes, it was fine. On mine, it was just the rear switch.

If the bushings are bad, the window will "stutter" and move freely with your hands.

NOW, my pass side window has had this problem for over 6 years:

The window will not go up or down with EITHER switch when it is less than about 50* outside. When the car warms up, the window works...could be contacts or something.

Since it rarely gets below 50 here, and even when it does, the car's in the garage, I havent fixed this yet. Hasnt happened yet this winter.
