Anyone know what the heck this thing looks like. I got new instructions to put in this new clutch cable, but no pics so I dont know what anything is called. I have to get thispawl gear thing off but I dont even know if what im trying for the life of me to get off is even it..

I'm thinking it's the little plastic peice on the back rod that wont move even with a crow bar! any pointers?

If you haven't tried it, hyperextend the pedal to release the pawl from the quadrant.

I'd be installing an aftermarket quadrant and FWA - who knows how long those plastic components will last.

Hey, I saw your other post. If you're installing an aftermarket metal quadrant, you can remove the pawl by destroying it.

Though written with a fox in mind (Jeremy has foxes), see section 6 of this article.
