Paxton VS Vortech?

i've got a 90 notch 5.0 all stock except for 373's and exhaust well im currently runing a paxton sn-89 that puts on out about 5-6 lbs max the only numbers i have are that before charger best was 14.4 with charger 13.3 spining both passes like a 2.1 60ft my question is im about to buy a vortech system its the V3si kit 8-10psi do you think its worth it to upgrade and do u think i will see a big diffrence between the 2

The difference between 5-6 lbs and 8-10 will be huge. Not sure on your motor but on mine (2005 3 valve) 2lbs equals roughly 50 hp ...

cant you just swap out the pully to change the boost on your paxton?

yea i did already its a old paxton ball drive thats about all the capable of is 6psi

but i just ordered vortech V3si trim kit from summit cant wait by the way i now have a paxton kit for sale

The sn89 kits run reallly hot and don't produce as much as the newer kits do that are out there today like the vortech sc trim.. I'd say before you swap charger setups invest in a set of cheap 10 hole rims and some mt drag radials and hit the strip again... you'll drop at least a few tenths then swap chargers and see how much you really gained because with that vortech radials are useless

the sn kit i have it on ebay now but id like to get 1,100 out of it
