Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knew where I could (if it's even possible) get my milage read and printed to paper. I bought a car later to find out that the odometer was rolled back and I need to show proof of this on paper.

Is there somewhere I can take it to have the milage read from maybe the OBD port? I heard someone say that the PCM (???) and the ICM (???) both record and log the milage of the car. Is this true? How do I access this data?

PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks a bunch

I don't think that is true for the Mustangs until the '99 model year. Your sig mentions you have a '98, is that the model year you are asking about?

Looks like up 'till 98 the odometer was mechanical.

Here is a shot of a '98 GT Interior, notice the mechanical odometer on the Speedo and the trip meter in the Tach.

I seriously doubt you will get the mileage from the PCM. If it was stored there, why the need for a mechanical odometer? I could be wrong but, doesn't seem likely to me.
