PCM question

anyone know if a DDX-4 PCM will work in place of my DDX-2.

my car is a 96 GT auto,and supposedly the DDX-4 is out of a 96 OR 97 GT auto.

It's just a later calibration of the same strategy - will work fine and probably will work better.
