Mine slides in and out easily. If I turn the lower intake upside down, the grommet will fall right out. Shouldn't it be tighter than that?

Actually yes, mine was kinda snug when the valve was installed, I used some blue RTV on the grommet to help seal it to the intake hole.

I've found only the Motorcraft grommet fits tight, but will cost you $30.
Otherwise just wrap electrical tape around the valve to expand the OD of the grommet for a tighter fit in the intake.

Electrical tape? Ahhh, heat and oil may make that stuff kinda gooey and likely not a good seal, an RTV type product would be a better choice.

Sounds like a plan. I'll smear some black RTV on the outside ribs and slide it on in. Thanks all!
