I took off my upper intake this morning because I need to set up my rocker arms the right way this time, anyway I bought my edelbrock performer upper and lower used. When I put it on the hose coming from the front with the sharp bend goes into a "T" and then to the pcv, where the "T" fits into the upper intake it was blocked off, so thats the way I left it and blocked off the "T" fitting in the hose where it screws into the upper intake. I removed the plug and installed the fitting back into the upper intake, looking at my picture , can anyone tell if this is the right setup now? Also there was a little bit of oil puddled up in the upper intake when I took off the side cover, could the way it was setup cause this?

At first i got confused, but i think i no what u mean after readinig it a couple times. The T was NOT in the intake, it was just chillen by itself with the bottom of it plugged and it connecting the 2 hoses. and now u put the T back into the intake right? From the picture that is how all the ones Ive seen been set up. The other way would still work but wouldnt be as effective since it only has vacuum source sucking the pcv gases out and has to travel longer into the tube to get into the intake, Rather than now it has 2 possible vacuum sources sucking out the pcv gases. I dont no if it will make a difference but it seems better to me.

Only thing i can think of is sticking pcv valve or something like that, or the way the guy rigged up the lines before you.
