those are the Hawk HP Pads. probably some of the worst pads out there. i didnt notice any performance with them over the stock PBRs that came w/ the cobra calipers, they dust like a mofo, and they squeel every now and then

Yeah, I remember there being a thread about it also. The guy wanted to remove it after 2 weeks or so since it began to discolor. Acetone did the job

Yea, the letters discolored on me in like 3 days... a lot of work down the drain. I loved the way it looked while white, but puke brown wasn't what I was looking for. If it stays white for you, go for it. but I had bad luck with duplicolor hot tires paint. Maybe everyone else will have good luck with them. Oh, and acetone FTW!

I only did one coat and half of the rear I did at night so that's why it's lighter than the rest I'll do another coat tomorrow and then try and get a better pic

its been a week on my painted letters and absolutly no fade at all. still white. only thing is i went on a hardcore cruise today and took a ton of twistys so now the paint has tiny cracks in it if you look up close. cant tell from 4 feet away though

Thanks Hey Derek. Are the BFG letters smooth? The Nitto's have little grooves in the letters and all the paint seeps down into the grooves. I think that's what's taking so long for mine to show up bright white. Not to mention I've gone through about 4 pens already haha
