People Don't Understand

Same here : Why you spend money on that car , it's a ford , why you want put bigger engine in that ? you can go only 65
People are retarded.

:notnice: They can all bite me. I have a relative that says the same things to me. He's also got a new vette sitting in his garage and a cycle. He has put NONE of himself in those vehicles..and plunked alot more money down. No originality. Having a vette takes all the fun out of it anyway. SERIOUSLy. I could go out and buy a vette tmorow but I don't because there is just someting to a stang 1st of all but second, the element of suprise when a 13 yr old car blows away a new vette. ;)

psh, I always get the following: "Clay, you have your car running...for God's sake just leave it alone." either that or, "Ford just didn't make the cobra good enough for you, huh?"

However....I usually get at least 1 compliment a day...I can also say that I rebuilt the engine myself and did almost all the work myself.

If someone wants to say it's pointless....I just say, "I'm sorry you feel that way," and move on.

The only annoying thing about owning a mustang are the douschebags that rev up at me at almost every light and take off...meanwhile I'm passing them just driving normally.......

My parents don't complain. Hell, they got me my '66 for my first car and my little sister got an '01 Mustang for her first car.
I usually only ever hear compliments about my cars. In my senior year I got "best car" in the yearbook for my '66 along with a girl that had a Z3.

The one time someone said something about one of my cars, it was my '95. It was this friend of a friend(the kid was f---ing wierd). It was the first time my friend saw the '95 since my '01 was totalled, and while he was looking at it his friend said it was a girl's car.:nonono: I laughed at him and asked, "What the hell do you drive, a Civic?" He said, "No. I don't have a car.":rlaugh: :rlaugh: :rlaugh: I just busted out laughing at him and he hasn't tried to hang out since.

That said, the people that admire my cars do so because they're not willing to own them themselves; if that makes any sense.

I agree

Mine isn't a daily driver, but I sure do drive it alot (every chance I get) I like to do two things at this time of year, drive the convertible & golf. So on my days off I combine the two, I drive the vert to the golf course and then play golf. As for what folks say, F*&^ um! Im getting 17MPG city! My DD Honda Odyssey is only getting 21-22MPG city, so big deal. I had a guy pull up beside me at a stop light just last night and tell me how sharp the car looked and when he asked what year he said wow great shape for 95, and I think it needs a serious paint job, and new top (well it really does need the a new top).

Mustang

I get that all the time too i get weird people though where i live one old lady yelled at me you have such a nice car i said thanks she yells at me take care of it. Also in traffic i was told to rev it up numerous times by people or let me hear your car. I think more then most my g/f understands the love i have for these car in general i tell her everyday lol
