What psi does yours read? I have an autometer oil pressure gauge and when its cold it reads 50 psi idle and up. When it warms to about 190* at idle its between 0 psi and 25 psi and at 2000 rpm its just above the line below the 50 psi mark.

When I put my motor in I took the high output for a normal one. Now I wish I would have kept it.

At cold startup I idle at 55psi or so. Once it warms up, it idles at 25, and cruises at 45 or so. It NEVER reads 0 though.

I would think 0 psi wouldn't be that good. That was the reason I change my engine in the first place. Turned out to be a bad oil pump o,well.

Mine reads about 50 on start up, but never goes to 0. I read somewhere its normal to be 40psi at 2000 rpms thats about where mine is at.

At cold startup (well I dont drive it when its cold out, it sits in the garage) at idle its at like 55-65, then after warmup it goes down to like 45ish, I dont think I have ever seen mine at anything lower than like 40-35 or so...then again it is a new motor (at least I know my bearings are getting and holding tight). STD. volume pump at that.

Autometer 2 1/16 elec. sport comp oil press guage.

Mine is about 55-60 cold idle, and just above 30 at hot idle. Mine runs near 50psi at 2000 RPM. That's with 17x,000 miles on everything.

Normal is between 40 and 60psi hot at 2000 RPM according to Haynes manual.
