i was wondering if you can post a picture of where the ford a/c delete, ps pump relocation kit mounts the ps (i.e. how high up?)
im asking because i want to delete my a/c but because of my sc the smog pump is the highest pulley on the passenger side and if i dont have a pulley where the a/c pump is, the belt will hit the wp pulley.

http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/images/4fa218-070s_engine.gif you can see from this pic how low the smog pump sits and how the belt going from the smog pump to the a/c would hit the wp if the a/c was any lower

I just realized that I've not had the front bracket installed since I relocated my ps pump, and it's been about 8 years!

I think I have a problem here.

You *might* wanna put that front bracket on. I know lots of people don't run 'em but just think of all that force pulling on what, 2-3 bolts in the back? No thanks

thanks for the pics you guys, looks like it will be plenty high to work. one more question though, does the bracket use all three of the holes on the driver's side head? or just two? i have a torque link http://www.koolpages.com/potatohell/enginelink.jpg that sits behind the a/c bracket (that i had to modify) and bolts to the head. i cant take it off because with high hp, low gears and high stall. even before my sc, and high stall the motor would slam into the hood when i floored it. i have the deep scratches in my intake manifold and under my hood to proove it

can one of you guys take pic of the side/back of the ps pump (similar to the angle of the pic i posted) so i can see if the ps pump and bracket will work with my torque link

I found it and put it on the other day. I agree it should be there, but have no idea how I missed that.
