I had a wrx for six years and loved it. Even an RS or a regular legacy would be great in the snow, and you would appreciate the GT's power that much more when you got back in it for the spring.

Nowadays I just put snow tires on the Mustang. Works great. Rochester probably gets a lot of lake-effect snow, so a second awd car would be a good idea.

A friend of mine has an 07 TB SS and he just drove home from Louisana to florida a couple weeks ago and averaged 17-18 all highway....my old 06 explorer with the 4.6 got a best of 23 on the highway and averaged 16-18 around town...our friends 06 EB explorer with the 4.0 got the same exact gas mileage as ours.
