I have been offered a set of heads and intake manifold to put on my 97 2V GT. I have been told they are from a 99 Roush. How can I verify that these are PI heads?

The heads should say pi on them.. check the markings

Not sure if the 99 roush is a windsor block like 99 Gt's, but if so, you'd need new valve covers too

I can not find a PI marking on them. Do all PI heads have the marking? I was told they were from a 99 but I was almost certain all 99s had PIs on them. Correct? Also is anyone certain that if these are Roush heads that I would need new cylinder covers?

Im no Roush expert, but for 99 & 00 PI heads, you would require different valve covers. Also, I'd assume that the roush at least had PI heads..

1999 = Windsor head, PI, square intake port. Non-Pi has a "tear-drop" shapped intake port. also if you use the Windsor heads on a Romeo block, you will need Windsor cam cvrs and some 10mm bolts and studs to attach the frt chain cover to the heads, as Windsors use 10mm and Romeos are 8mm.
