PI intake on NPI heads??

OK, first off I tried a search but couldn't find my answer. My brother swears this can't be done since the ports are different on PI and NPI heads and he says that if you were to put a PI intake on NPI heads he says the ports won't be the same and therefore won't work. So do you have to get intake spacers are something when doing this mod. I need some help since I want to be doing this mod.

i'll use this thread for the actual tech. yes you can put a PI intake on a NPI engine. no the ports won't match up exactly, but they will be pretty damn close. i don't believe you will have to use spacers. there was a couple of threads about this already that discussed all the specifics. since the search engine here on stangnet = teh suck, do an old fashioned search. by that i mean go through all the different pages here in 4.6 land and you should find at least 2 threads about this subject.

YES, this can be done. And no, you don't have to use adapter plates. Most people that've done the swap have used NPI gaskets.
