pi intake?

Yes you can. It actually is a great improvement over stock. Livernois Motorsports has the completed kit with adapter plates but is costly. A lot people use RTV sealant instead of adapter plates and been very successful. You will also need to tap for 2nd temp sensor on the intake and need a new PI tubing that goes in the valley of the motor. It is supposely an easy mod and give you around 20 rwhp.

thank for the info k boy do you have any idea on what a new pi intake cost or could i just get a used one?

You can get a new one for around $200 give or take a couple of bucks. Or you can search the classifieds (ebay) for a used one. It will still work, but I recommend one from a 2002 or newer due to the fact that it has the aluminum coolant crossover.

can you buy a bullit intake and use their adapter plates? how much are the adapter plates. I would just get the frpp one for my 96 but it is too damn expensive
