Ok, so you know those little plugs on the front and the back of the heads. They are really small and have a hex top to them and when you change the heads from the old to the new, you swap over the plugs from the old to the new so you dont have any oil leaks. Yeah....guess what, I tried to get the small one out or the old head and stripped it right out. Went to lowes, they dont have it, went to home depot, they dont have it, went to two auto parts stores...they dont have it. So now the question is...where can I get a new one?

I am gonna call ford tomorrow to see if they even sell them seperate. Anyone know any other places I might try to look for the plug? Thanks for the help.

you should see if there is a specialty engine assembly or machine shop in your area. sometimes they have galley plugs. i know when i needed some core plugs for a 289 i was building the local machine shop just gave them to me because they had too many on hand.

I talked to Ford and they said they didnt have them. I have made a trip to every hardware store and auto parts store in the city. I am running out of options...I know the size and the pitch now so maybe I can find a hardware store online that sells them
