In 1999 Ford improved the heads and intake manifold and called them the PI heads and intake. Many pre-99 owners with the 4.6 swap up to the improved parts. I believe the gain if you swap both is an impressive 65hp. It is a pricey operation though if you cannot do it yourself...

yeah, 99 was the first year for the mustang
i think f150's and crown vics got them later on, like 2000 or 'o1
