ok I need a pic of someones engine bay that has no power steering pump or ac and has a bracket that just relocated the stock tensioner over to the driver side of the motor. If someone can point me to the part number for the bracket, that would be good. Thanks!

I'd kinda like to see this setup, too. I'm deleting my P/S and going to manual because I'm sick of my rack AND pump slobbering fluid wherever I park.

I do have some pics. But I do not have a belt sixe. I have to look for it when I go out to my parents house. If I remember right I drilled a few holes into the bracket to get it to sit right.

I'm surprised only one person has pics of their motor.

Doesnt look like enough belt to drive the WP under heavy load.

Hello,

here is my first setup. But the belt slips over the alternator pulley permanently. It´s a 3G 140 amp´s. I don´t know the belt lenght.

Then i change to a clockwise water pump and a special water pump pulley. The belt is exactly 1000 milimeters long.

More pictures on my web page www.mustang1967.de
Unfortunately in german.

What do you mean by "the belt slips over the alternator pulley PERMANENTLY?" Does the tensioner simply function as an idler pulley in that setup, and you have to bolt the alternator up while putting tension on the belt?

The tensioner spring is not strong enough with this setup. I must install the alternator downward because i need space for the front mounted oil dip stick. It´s a front sump oil pan (67 mustang).
Now i use the tensioner from the alternator, perfectly.

Hmmm ... so in order to delete the P/S and the A/C, one still needs to buy a fancy bracket to relocate the tensioner AND a bracket to move the alternator...?
