Wow, yea, that blows me away. I guess now I can see where you have so much TIME to work on the car, at least. I had no idea you were unemployed.

Hey John, we're always hiring. And with the economy like it is and the recent Cash for Clunkers program we're getting more and more work. PM me if your interested.

I have to agree with Josh on this one. Where do you find money for modding a mustang in an unemployment check?? I have been laid off since April of this year and I moved back home temporarily to AVOID being a leech on the economy. I do not collect unemployment because I feel I don't need it. I do without instead. I know you do a lot of work yourself, and I've seen you machine some of your own parts, but regardless, this is a very expensive hobby to be paying for on someone else's dime.

I thought i might get a few bashes off this post. So lets sum it up. What tax do all of us pay for every check?Unemployment. As far as having funds for mods? Well lets see? As far as i can recall i have a total out of pocket for my bay project $110 for paint,$35 for the fan controller,$30 for the fan.So $175 isnt gonna get me know where if i have not of used it on this project. As far as having mommy and daddy to fall back on good for you!I dont have them! When i was drawing what i was i in no way was living the high life like i would be working,i have been doing without.PLus in no way did i say i'm flat broke!BUT with taking a $237 cut a week yes it will go quick with what money is in the bank.peace

I say sure if you can do it for that much go a head." WOW! so either your full of BS and just made up this huge lie of a thread?Or you was gonna scam this guy out of $3,000? peace

You are a complete ****in (fill in the blank with something not nice in your head). They did a **** job and I was going to have the driveway paved in the future, if they were going to do it for $3k that I have sitting in the bank clearly I'd have it done. It would be $15k+ to do it which is why I jumped on it. So no I didn't pay for anything. I use my unemployment so I don't lose my damn house and truck. **** off.

First off, lets keep this tame. No bashing or the Master lock comes out.

Secondly, unemployment isn't all on the govt's dime. A lot of it is paid by private companies who pay into a pool with an unemployment insurance tax. Not saying the tax covers it 100% though. But your former employer pays basically insurance on you so if you get laid off, you have the safety net. The state runs the program...and taxes each business per individual.

Thirdly...i hear what some people collect on unemployment and it just boggles my mind how people live off that. Here in MA, we have the highest payout in the country...of $650/week MAX....and I would struggle to live off that. Elsewhere, i read about people living off $200/week for months on end with a mortgage and family to feed. No idea how they even do that.
