Hemi rams are pretty high 14's with a regular cab short bed 2wd, but thats about the fastest they get stock... and thats one of the quicker stock trucks out there aside from special edition ones like the Lightnings and SRT-10's... the new SS's are a joke stock. The SSR is pretty quick now though. Modded any Ford, Chevy, or Dodge can be fast... I know of a few very quick Chevy's around here.
Diesels are no joke though, like said. There is one guy with a NASTY NASTY NASTY 4 door ram with a Cummins turbo diesel, and its at least chipped with exhaust, but im sure its more by the way this thing moves... It really doesnt take much to turn up the boost and push some serious numbers with new turbo diesel trucks.
My silverado has beat a hemi ram, next week I'll take down the track and see what it will do. I know it can tow a stang at 75.
A friend of mine has modded superduty (diesel), said it ran low 12's and it could beat my stang, bottom line 11's > 12's. I think he had fun trying. LOL
