I'm bored and wishing I could work on my car so badly right now, but I just had shoulder surgery, so finally after 2 years of not having a garage to work in, I get to sit and look at my car instead lol..

So, instead, I'll post some pics I took this summer.. I'm starting to get pretty good at it..

This was the last time I saw here before I put the cover on.

And now here's some of my favorite pics from this summer of other things..

the colors are so vibrant, many of the images look almost surreal. did you do any processing on any of the images, or is that how they were captured by the camera?

Thank you.. Most of the pictures are HDR's. 3 shots, one underexposed, one regular, and one overexposed stacked on top of each other in Photomatix. Depending on how you edit them, they can look just slightly more vivid and realistic, or you can go all out and make it look like a painting.. I like somewhere in the middle

Depends on the camera, but yes.. On canon, there is menu setting for Auto Exposure Bracketing.. It will allow you to choose how much to overexpose and underexpose.. Unless you have a very steady hand and a very fast camera, you will need a tripod.. The Orange Chevelle pics were taken hand held, but my camera shoots 8.3 frames per second, so it's do able.

7D.. Most shots were taken with my Sigma 10-20 F4.5-5.6.. Its half the price of any other lense I own and used 90% of the time.. I can't tell you how awesome it is for landscape, architecture, and cars.

Thank you.. My favorite is the Watch Children sign with the Pedobear.. I was in tears laughing when I saw it.. All of these pics are from around my house, within 30-45 minutes. The really colorful one with the rock and the pond is actually the dog park in the middle of town. I'll post a few more tonight
