How about we wait for side shots until I get my wheels... it will be in 4-6 weeks but it should be well worth it. I can not move the car right now as I have the top of the motor off polishing it, so the only side shot I could get would be in my garage and it will not make for a very good picture.

The 302 emblems are from Saleen as they were on their fox body cars in the 80-90's. I put it on there because back in 97-99 I was asked too many time if it was a 4.6L and got sick of it.

Mike- the rear decklid can be adjusted with the latch, but right not the op of the deck lid and the top of the fender match up height wise, its that bottom part that doesn't. Its like my trunk lid was made too short there or something. I will try to adjust it as it can't hurt.

Because even though the car isn't lowered, I can barely get a jack under it because of the ground effect. Also, my global west LCA's put the rear sway bar much lower than stock and my jack won't fit under it to get to the pumpkin to lift it. I have a set of killer jackstands that I use once the car goes up in the air, but I'm woring under the hood right now and don't want to be on my tip toes.

I'm trying to put a bow in the tires to reduce my contact patch which should equate into quicker ET's as there is less rolling resistance. J/K!!!

Thanks guys!!! If I had money to blow, I'd get a repro bumper without any MUSTANG GT lettering,

That's why I got a repro Saleen, no lettering...but I've had it for 3 years and still haven't been able to get it painted yet.

Polishing the motor?
Black light Covers?
Xenon Kit?
Lettering?
Saleen Wing?

Hmmm...Someone going for a little "squint, lest ye.......chrome"

My Opinions...Wing is Nice..Black light covers on yellow. Black lettering over chrome, since the covers are black. I had silver metallic letters and replaced them with the black.
Tips are fine!

Just wanted to give a little update on my car. I bought a set of tail lights last year so I can mount a battery disconnect switch in. Well, I haven't done the disconnect switch yet, but I did paint them black with fusion paint.

So you are going to drill a hole somewhere near or on the taillight for the battery disconnect switch? Would you keep the light there permanently or remove/install the taillight when racing?
The switch is the only thing keeping me from relocating the battery. I REALLY don't want to drill a hole in my decklid.

Charlie that's too funny!!! You trying to start trouble again!?!? I actually tried doing something similar when I put the pic up but couldn't.

Eric- as of right now, yes, I plan to use a push off type battery disconnect switch and run it through the tail light. With the push-off switch i can remove the handle when I'm not racing and none can mess with my car. I originally was going to just swap the pass side tailight before I went to the track, but if I can get this idea to work I'll just leave them on there since I like the way they look.

Troy- I never would have thought about the trunk release... good thing you did! I can't wait to see it.

Looks good Paul.
BTW, I like the 302 emblem, I'd keep it on there. Where'd you get it by the way?

Yeahloh95 - I am dying to see some pics of you molded rear decklid!
