I will redo it eventually to get rid of the screws, they're countersunk but still I'd rather a stock looking piece... That's the only thing bugging me for now.

thanks

It took me about 30 minutes to do lol I cut up a piece of 1/8" clear lexan to fit the area, and made some Mustang stickers on the plotter. I glued the sticker and then sanded and painted the lexan, removed the sticker and put on an opaque white backing (vinyl used for printing signs). I made a small light box to put behind it, drilled some holes and installed it... I could have just cut out the logo on a flat black vinyl and covered the whole thing without the need for any paint but the paint doesn't scratch off if it's prepped properly.

Looks good! I used the same paint/sticker method as you to make a lighted logo for an equipment rack at my job. Came out nice.

Good work, and it'll look even better with some gauges!

cool, thanks for the info.. you could probably make a few bucks just by offering a template for the screw holes. those are a pain in the ass to measure... well, for me it was at least

I did a passenger side airbag delete in my 95 that looked awsome....wish I took pics of that. I spent about 4 hours fitting a piece of lexan into the dash then placed a mustang sticker on it shot some black textured paint on it then peeled the sticker off while the paint was wet. installed a green neon light bar inside the dash then put the delete on. looked awsome at night when the mustang logo glowed green.
