Looking good!!! What did you do to delete your AC with your vortech? I know you have to get the FMS ac delete kit, but I was told you have to drill a new hole in the vortech bracket for the tensioner? Is that right? What size belt are you using? Are you running the smog delete pulley as well? Please let me know.

Thanks Justin

Hey thanks for the comments. My car dosent have Ac so i dident have to worry about that. Im running a smog pump delete. I dident pay anything to put on sense i and my friends do everything ourselfs. My buddy owns a company called TheMustangShop.com so i have access to a lift and every tool i could ever need. The kit cost me $3300 total. Im running no 42# injectors with a C&L 80mm mass air. The car runs really strong! Im seeing 10psi at about 6000 and 12-13 at 6800. Im not not sure what belt im using exactly, ill take a look and see. I dont have any numbers yet, but im on a waiting list to have the car dyno tuned and have a custom burn chip at blood. Thanks again

by any chance do you guys install subframe connectors? I have a set to get installed... i've been having trouble with local muffler shops... wanting like 400 for a job like that!

I removed my ac as well and im going to install the FMS ac delete kit. The info I got from people is that you need to drill a new locater pin hole in the vortech bracket just below the old hole for the tensioner. Thsi needs to be done because the tensioner pulley needs to be positioned a little higher in order to be in the right tension range. Is this what you did on yours?

You take your car to 6800rpm? Are you running the stock block?

Take the car to a body shop. They usually do frame work.
Dont goto a body shop! I have seen body shops do some really stupid stuff when installing subs. Goto a shop that knows what they are doing. Thats why you pay more. Because it gets done right the first time. I know of cars that are going to have to pay get the subs a body shop put on cut out. Nothing like paying twice because your to cheap to get it done right the first time.
With shops like All Ford Performance, Brad's Custom Auto and Bloods in the area why trust your car to some one that doesn't know what they are doing.
Goto a shop with Mustang and sub install knowledge.

I took mine to Lakeview Body. They do all the factory body and frame corrections for the local Chrysler dealerships. That's whay body shops do. They straighten frames and repair them. The shop mentioned above certainly did a great job on mine. I am not saying that all shops do a proper job, but it is body shops that do this kind of work.

...I think it looks like crap, and it will never run right, so you should just take it off, and sell it to me for like .10 on the dollar. Ill dispose of it for you....

:D

well it was worth a try.

Looks great man, you guys do good work.

:flag: :nice:

sorry for not responding quicker, Im in the Air Force and we have been working 12-14 hours a day latley. havent had a day off in about a month. But yeah we install subframe connectors, that shouldent take long at all. Yeah the motors seen higher than 6800 but not on purpose. The engine stops making power at about 6500 so no need to go any higher.
