Thats pointless. You should get a boost gauge...then some boost to back it up!

yeah ryan, those aftermarket gauges are pointless, get a "TPS adjustment sensor" and "chrome" those tail light bezels immediately

not really. the stock gauges are not accurate at all bud. boost down the road. i want to get my cam in and buy a set of heads, then get parts to swap to a 5 speed then ill stat collecting parts to either turbo it or supercharge it.

all thats left to get to do my heads and cam swap is get a double roller timming chain, decided what heads i want to use, 1.6 or 1.7 RR then head gaskets and new head bolts and im ready to go

usually what happens in these cars, and the aftermarket senders fit where the stockers go, thus upgrading gauges makes the stock ones dead. i know when i bought mine the stock water temp gauge was dead, my old lx was the same way. the autometer i got is way more accurate anyway.

What heads? Hopefully TF or AFR. And when it comes down to those 2, hopefully the right cam too.

im going mild with the came.

Steeda #19 - 220*/226* - 280*/286* - .480"/.480" - 115* - 2,300-6,000 RPM

1.6 Roller Rockers (.006")
Intake Opening: 26* BTDC
Intake Closing: 74* ABDC
Exhaust Opening: 79* BBDC
Exhaust Closing: 27* ATDC

Recommended Valve Springs:
110lbs closed/312 lbs open

heads im thinking gt40's of i can find them then port them, 1.6 rockers. and my steeda cam. with the explorer upper and lower. i think i could make 270 at the wheels with it. maybe idk with the aod may only make around 250. im building a mild engine combo because boost is what will happen in the end so i want a combo that will be good with boost. hence the reason why im going with a mild cam that is good for boost.

Get a T fitting for the oil pressure sender and hook your stock gauge back up. I also like having Autometer gauges that give you a real reading. But I like having the stock one work too. I think you could get more out of that combo. 25th made 272 with his set up if I recall correctly. Either way, car looks awesome. Your doing some really nice well done mods to that thing!!
