I'm partial to mine cause it opens up the top of the engine keeping the accessories low.

It's the trickflow kit and just moves the tensioner for like $30. Works awesome.

Bad pic of the actual "kit" tho.

In my opionion, the FMS delete is the only way to go.

The idea is to delete stuff off the engine...not add more pullies.

What's added? The ASP unit replaces the AC compressor with a nice polished aluminum idler. The FMS set up moves the ugly power steering pump right up top using a complicated bracket system that requires a new belt and routing.

he's saying that there's a "dead" pulley sitting there with no purpose other than to route the belt a certain way.

Complicated? It's 2 pieces and two bolts?

Also it's an OEM part, it's the exact same thing that comes on the non AC cars. If your car still has the smog equipment, just go to the parts store and ask for a belt for a non AC car....pretty simple. If it doesn't have AC, there's about 1000 threads on here about belt length and it's not that hard to measure yourself.

Kits that replace the AC with an idle pulley serve no purpose other than removing the AC and its weight, since the AC pulley spins freely when it's not engaged anyways. The concept of freeing up parasitic drag by using a shorter belt is lost in that setup since you're running the same length belt. If you want the best of both worlds...that being less weight and less drag on the crank (which will free up a bit of hp) then you need a kit that ELIMINATES the AC and its pully, not just replace it with another one.

Also i guess ugly is one man's opinion....look at Mansonozz's chromed piece or any of the polished ones around...just clean the fluid reservoir and lines (or better yet just replace them all with nice new clean ones) and clean up the bracket and it's no uglier than any of the other accessories.

But that's just my $.02.
