Best free prog ever, for pics is "Irfan View". It can handle any file extension, and you can resize/sample, crop/cut paste etc etc it's badass. And very simple, right to the point, small in size maybe 8mb, and you can find it to download anywhere, also I recommend this prog to everyone, it's a PC'ers must have.

Well to start with, it must be a bitmap...that's huge for a pic, period. Open it in MS Paint, and then just select "save as", and choose jpeg for the file type, and whatever name you want, you can keep it the same since they're actually two different files at this point. This will probably help you enough, but, the actual size, in layout, is still by far way to big for use as an avatar. Use the prog I recommended if you want..

Ok thanks will give it a try. We took the pics with a Canon A460 then just transfered them to the computer. The car pics are the only pics that r that big. I dont know why they turned out like that...

You can upload it to imageshack.com or whatever and I'll resize it for you if you can't figure it out.
