Pillar Pads...Yes or No

I'm not sure which way to go on this. I don't think my '68 Coupe project came with them originally since I don't see any holes and the pillars were painted the same as the interior. So I have 2 options.


If I don't put them in, how does the headliner attach at the pillars? The headliner attaches under the windshield seal in front and the windlace on the sides, but how does it cross the pillar? Pictures?

If I do put them in, how/where do the clips attach to the pillar pad and what size hole do I drill in the pillar? I bought the pads and the clips, but gawd forbid any part would come with installation instructions.

Thanks for any help!
