Pinging solved!

I put my stock MAF meter back on. Got tired of messing with it.

Did you try rotating the MAF so the sensor was in a different position? My guess is that it was getting a turbulent reading and was wacking the EEC out. It's happened to a few people on here. Once they clocked it, it ran much smoother. Sorry about your luck. I'm still a C&L fan. :D

I know you werent asking me but I loved my C&L on my other car so I'm not one of those anti C&L natzis. But it just wont work on my current car. I've clocked it every position possible, cleaned the sensor, tightened EVERYTHING airtight, unhooked the battery like 10 times. Nothing will get my car to like that MAF. I guess maybe its the difference in the computers. Some like them, some dont.

I did try clocking it. Nothing seemed to work. Everything was good and adjusted. Fuel pressure was good. I dunno. The only thing I can think of now would be to upgrade the injectors. Oh well. I'll probably be selling it soon. I'll be in the market for an Atlantic Blue 98 Cobra convertible.
