Pinion Snubber + Sportlines... a must?

is the pinion snubber needed at all? i know there was some discussion about it, but i really don't even know what it does.

i took it off when i took off my dogbone with the stock springs... but now i put sportlines on and don't know if i should pick up one of the adjustable ones or something

there's some grinding i hear, but i'm not sure what it is.. haven't got it back in the air since the install saturday

i would bet your deriveshaft it rubbing, i had to get under my car and bend the e-brake cable bracket a bit, along with some other stuff to make it stop.....

hmm, that's probably true, it feels like various things are rubbing... so i'll put it in the air and do that

but, did you guys put the pinion snubber back in... or leave it in?

they should have sent you a replacemetn snubber with the kit, i didn't have eibach's so i just cut my factory snubber in Half........

used springs... ~10k on their clock... no eibach pinion snubber

i'll look into cutting mine down, thanks bud

I think I used my stocker, and later did have something rubbing on the driveshaft which was easy to find cuz that part of the shaft was shiny.

hmm, i'll see how much clearance i have with the stocker too... i had a few shiny portions to the shaft before the springs
