Hello All,

1965 Fairlane 500, upgraded with a new rebuilt 302.

Doing a complete rewire for the 302, installing a Pertronics Ingnition.

Where do I buy a new Pink resistor wire?

Do I really need it?

Thanks

Chrysler’s and a few GM’s used a ignition resistor instead of a special wire. If you cannot find the ignition wire, you can likely still pick one up from the FLAPS. If you have points, they run full 12v in cranking mode, but less in running mode. That keeps the points from getting fried prematurely,
