Pip Code 14 After Remote Tfi Install

I just installed a Remote TFI on my Mustang. I also installed with the remote TFI a new Motorcraft DY1284 TFI Module. After running the car for about 5 min it died and had a hard time starting again. So I ran codes and got code 14, PIP Sensor failure.

Could the installation of the remote TFI have messed up the PIP Sensor, or did I possibly get a cheap Made in China Motorcraft TFI Module causing the code 14? I have never had a code 14 until this install.

I still have 2 real TFI's with Motorcraft actually printed on the them as opposed to this new Motorcraft TFI that only has a Ford part number but no Motorcraft stamped into it.

UPDATE: I did some research and found that a faulty TFI will also throw this code. So I took out the new "so called" Motorcraft TFI and replaced with the original Motorcraft TFI my Mustang came with in 1987 and car starts, stays running and throws no more code 14. It sucks that every TFI out there is crap anymore even the new so called Motorcraft ones.
